Snowmen, Gingerbread Men and more ...

Just catching up on some of my Chrsitmas cards that never made it to my blog. I had no time before Christmas, just managed to scrape through with the important hand made cards and everyone else had shop bought cards - oh the shame! I'll be making Christmas cards every month in 2013 to make sure I don't have the same lack of time problem next Christmas :)

Presents ...

Happy Christmas Eve!

I tried hard this year to make quite a lot of my smaller gifts and these little gingerbread men were what I made for the children in my class to hang on their tree

Fabric from the Fat Quarters shop, ribbon, twine and felt from Ribbon Girl

I have been a lousy blogger recently, just too much going on at the day job and then having this horrid cold which put me out of action for a couple of weeks. Hopefully over the next few days though I can share some of the cards I've made recently, there aren't many as I've not felt crafty whilst being poorly

All Creatures Great and Small ...

The latest challenge at PTW is to add a creature to your card. I was away for the weekend with my lovely crafty pals so I pinched Jane's stamps to make this with and as I realised late on Sunday that I hadn't made my card and I needed to pack up ready to drive home it had to be a super quick and very simple card

Did you check the PTW blog to find out who won the prize I had hidden in last weeks Birthday Blog Hop? Someone won the $20 gift certificate from Nitwit Collections - go see if it was you!!

Papertake Weekly is 5!

It is our birthday over at the Papertake Weekly challenge blog and we are having a fabulous party which you're all invited to - and there are prizes! Fabulous prizes I have to say from our very special sponsors:

All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning these fabulous prizes is to join in with the challenge which is an Anything Goes challenge with the option to make a card for a celebration then visit all of the DT and Guest DT blogs leaving a comment as the prizes are all hidden around our little community of crafters. You don't know where we have hidden the prizes so the more comments you leave the more chances you'll have to win the prizes!

This is my card - I made a 5th birthday card to celebrate our 5th birthday

I used:
Digital paper, sentiment and owl element from the What A Hoot Collection at Nitwit Collections
Spellbinders and Papertrey Ink dies
Cosmos daisy flower and aqua jewels from the Ribbon Girl

Here is the list of everyone taking part in the party, the time difference between the countries will affect what time people post to their blogs so if their post isn't up straight away then check back in a few hours as they may still be fast asleep in bed!!
